Community Vision

It is the earnest desire of the church to be a blessing in the community.

Elderly
The Church holds monthly services in Carrondale and Kinnaird Manor eventide homes. Our weekly Coffee Morning and Craft classes are also open to the elderly.

Children
The Pastors and various members of the congregation have regular input into several local primary schools and Larbert High School. The Children's church and POWERKIDZ cater for Primary School Children. The Parents and Toddlers group has been running for a number of years.

Special Needs
Our Assistant Pastor John Daniel is a Chaplain at Torwood Primary School.

The Poor & Needy
The Church has on numerous occasions been called upon to assist the needy in the Community by providing food, clothing and house furnishings.

Lonely and Bereaved
The weekly Coffee Morning reaches out to the lonely and bereaved by providing a meeting place in a friendly atmosphere with a free cup of tea or coffee and a thought for the day. The Pastors are involved in a weekly programme of visitation especially to the sick and lonely.

Prayer
Prayer plays a vital role in the life of the Church as is seen by the number of prayer meetings held on a weekly basis. The Church has a group of dedicated "Intercessors" and also operates a prayer chain where people commit themselves to pray for the shared requests, on a confidential basis.

Community Awareness
Young people from the church recently cleaned up litter as part of an outreach campaign in their local community. The youngsters, part of youth group "FUSION", cleared a truck full of litter. The vision behind the project stemmed from the steroetypical view that the only things young people contribute to the area are vandalism and bad behaviour.
