Activities

Children's Ministries: The Church had run a small Sunday School practically since its inception. Recently this has been changed to Children's Church and takes place during the morning service. Other Children's activities have also been arranged to cater for the changing tastes of children. The Church organises an annual free family funday for the community which is attended by approx 300 children. The POWERKIDZ group (5-11 yrs) meets on a Friday and attracts around 30 children. The Tots, Toddlers and Twos group (pre-school) meets on a Thursday and attracts around 30 children. Special missions are also organised from time to time. Dance and Drama is a relatively new activity that has been added to our programme. The Pastors are also involved in school chaplaincy and various schools work.

Youth Ministries: "FUSION" and "DNA" ministries for children 11-18 years old. Please see the Youth Ministries web site for further details.

Women's Ministries: "Captivated" is the Women’s Ministry and meets on the first Tuesday of each month. Please see the Women's Ministries page for further details. The Assemblies of God also run regional women's events, which ladies are encouraged to attend.

Men's Ministries: "The Gate" is the Men’s Ministry and meets on the first Wednesday of each month.

Creative Crafts: The church has recently commenced a group called CREATIVE CRAFTS. It meets on Fridays from 1.00pm to 3.30pm. It is our vision to serve the community through this venture and it is hoped that people will learn from each other in a very practical way. There is a cup of tea, biscuit, simple "Thought for the Day" and ample time to pursue the craft of one's choice.

Worship Band: Worship in the Church is augmented by a pool of talented singers and musicians. The Church has been blessed by having these, and other singers, minister regularly at  the Sunday night services. They have also been a great blessing to  the monthly  Old  People's   Home outreaches  and  to other Churches when the Church is asked to provide ministry. The band plays a mixture of contemporary and traditional Christian songs. We also have a group of younger musicians who come to the weekly "School Of Rock" and these talented young musicians are being integrated into the worship band at the regular youth services.
